I bought this unit for an old vehicle: Zafira B. I did have some issues fitting it, but customer services were fast to respond. It turns out that I needed to remove a bracket at first, which was causing issues.

The unit has operated well, a week in, and although I have not connected everything (DAB+ unit) it was a bit awkward to get it all in. I guess I could remove some dash to fiddle easier, but time is fairly premium at the moment.

Being able to play my Spotify through this unit is excellent. You can download your music library using the Wi-fi outside your home and it downloads quickly. Adding My google account to the car and being able to check email, my calendar, and even watch Youtube through it is great. The head unit is fairly responsive and like I say the sound quality is really good, A lot better than the standard head unit. Using My phones Mobile WI-FI Hot spot takes this unit to another level. Connected to Bluetooth I can make and receive calls and what makes it a great is the combination of the Android operating system which runs all applications well. I am very happy with the Unit and the customer support I have received.

Great customer service though!

Customer Review on Pumpkin AA0341B Android 9.0 Single DIN Flip out Car Stereo

I am really pleased with the radio, it can do so much and so well and so quickly, great product, I really have to praise it. Another thing about the radio, the installation on my car Seat Arosa H6 1998 was very easy, and so far everything works perfectly.

Here are some of the features of this car radio.
1. Flip-out screen: that looks pretty cool, you can also retract the monitor and continue playing the music.

2. USB/SD: it supports both the micro SD card and USB.

3. Menu: there are buttons on the panel, with the buttons, you can go to the main menu and control the volume.

4. Multi-color button: when turning on my car key, the buttons light up and they can be changed color.

5. Audio setting: you can use the slider to change the position of the box and other settings such as volume, EQ-3, bass, balance, VIP.

6. Radio: unfortunately we are now in the garage so it can not find anything here.

7. Video function: you can watch music videos, movies, and YouTube videos.

8. Bluetooth: after you paired your mobile phone to the radio, you can make a phone call and listen to music.

9. Navigation: I will show it works in the later video.

10. In the menu, you can see and set the WiFi/ Internet, auto settings, apps & notifications, storage, RAM, users and accounts, Google account and system, etc.

11. You can end all the apps once like mobile phones close everything.

12. We all know that watching movies while driving is forbidden, but it can fade in up and then the movie will run up there but the whole menu will have it. It’s pretty awesome.

Customer review on Pumpkin AA0495B 2 Din 7-Inch Octa-Core Universal Android head unit

It's only fair to share...Share on FacebookShare on LinkedInPin on PinterestShare on RedditShare on TumblrShare on StumbleUponDigg thisShare on VK

I have a new Pumpkin car stereo and I am impressed so far. The device is Pumpkin AA0495B 2 Din 7-Inch Octa-Core Universal Android Infotainment System with GPS, RBDS Radio, and Bluetooth(4G RAM+32G ROM).

I have had this installed in my 20-year-old Focus for a couple of months now. It’s double din but it seems Fords version of double din is slightly different. I had to ‘modify’ the dash bezel to get it to fit, that is nothing against this device.

For the most part, it’s been excellent, I’m far from an expert in installing something like this but have it running with all bells and whistles (Bluetooth, wifi, backup camera, etc.). Having it display battery voltage on the main screen has been incredibly valuable to learn and understand the power consumption.

I don’t believe you can use this without the engine running for too many minutes before it bleeds too much juice from the battery, having a visual display of the voltage is so useful, it could just be my car and/or battery but it should be no surprise it’s more power-hungry than what was originally intended for my car. I have yet to look into possibly a larger battery to counter/accommodate it.

The other day the screen couldn’t seem to make it minds up on brightness level and flicked levels every 10 or so seconds, that hasn’t happened since, but it happened.

I am suspecting my starter motor may be on it’s way out as the ‘instant on’ feature is proving somewhat unreliable whereas initially, it worked great. Again, I have a 20-year-old car and new to this type of install, to me, there may be calculable reasons for the above and I do not believe it’s this device but rather my lack of knowledge and understanding. I say this as a caution to others, maybe get a professional to install and advise!

Other than that I’m really happy with it and it’s a fraction the cost of a bigger name brand with all or more features and it’s Android so massive potential in customization.

As for the design, having an actual volume dial was a key factor in me choosing this, the physical Home and Back buttons have also proven superior to the touchscreen options. One tiny gripe is the black outer bezel sticks out from the screen a touch too much, so when using the touchscreen on the top edge is a tiny bit awkward, but it’s not that big a deal.

Overall I very much recommend this device.
