After Installation:

I was searching for a long time for an overhead headrest DVD player. I had one in mind, but it got discontinued. All others were ridiculously expensive or poorly rated. Then I came across this. A lot of worthy excellent reviews. I purchased the 1003 that is 1080P capable with IR headphones.

Install was a breeze. I found a You-Tube video that was 44 seconds long, and literally, that’s how long it took to install.
Since then, it’s been a hit with my 4 year old.

I’ve had no issues with it reading DVD’s thus far – granted they have been only consisting of Caillou and babyeinstein.

The big test will be this week when we go on vacation, but I have confidence that this will help getting us through the upcoming 6 hour drive.
Worth every penny.

PS. One minor complaint, the Finger lip that you use to lift the dvd off the spinner is a little small, so it can be sometimes a little difficult removing a disk from the player.

Tried many mobile car tv’s before this and they all didn’t fit well on the back of the front seat. They either wanted to fall, velcro was weak, or needed to buy an additional kit to hold the tv. Bought this one and it is what I should have bought for my child in the first place. This one locks into the 2 headrest metal rods and doesnt move. The screen faces down to change the cd on the back then close then screen goes to upright again. Child cant mess with the buttons as much nor kick the screen as much as the other walmart brand screens. You can even play a video game on this, which i guess is a plus. The only down side is it doesnt have an internal battery which is fine for me and the remote buttons are so many and tiny. Otherwise it does exactly what it needs to do for a child to watch cartoons and not be a hazard in case of an accident and the screen falls. The screen might still fall but will be much harder to fall than the velcro ones. Thats my disclaimer. Enjoy!
